RE: Product support for previous Querix Product Versions
Dear Querix 'Hydra4GL' Development Customers,
The purpose of this letter is to provide product and support information for Querix 'Hydra4GL' Development tools customers. The industry standard of supporting software applications is to support the two application versions released prior to the most recent version's release.
Querix products have far exceeded these industry standards throughout the past. Querix (UK) Ltd is announcing our plans to discontinue support for Hydra 4.2 (and older releases).
With our ongoing commitment to Querix customers, and to allow for a smooth and orderly transition to the more recent version of 'Hydra4GL' (4.4), Querix will continue to provide customer support for 'Hydra4GL' 4.2 until December 31st, 2009.

Querix customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest 'Hydra4GL' product version 4.3 in order to gain full support and powerful business benefits.

- PostgreSQL V8 & later
- MySQL V5 & later
- Other ODBC accessible databases, such as Adabas, Sybase, and Xbase
'Hydra4GL' 4.4 and Lycia 5.0 is supported on most Windows, Linux and Unix platforms 32-bit and 64-bit:
- Windows 2000, XP, 2003, advanced server, VISTA 32-BIT
- Windows XP, 2003, advanced server, VISTA 64-BIT
- Linux (RedHat, SuSE, Mandrake,etc...) 32-bit and 64bit
- Sun Solaris(SPARC 32-bit/64-bit/Intel)
