If you get -999 error when you try to connect to a database under 64 Bit Windows:
The system may be looking for a 32-bit DSN. It is necessary to use the program c:\windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe to configure the DSNs for use with this system. Also the microsoft ODBC driver manager will simply fail to enumerate any DSN named 'Default' - if this is the name assigned to the DSN, try renaming the DSN.
